Bus and coach driver training courses are normally run with a 2:1 pupil to instructor ratio, with a maximum of 3:1 (depending on the vehicle seating configuration).

The typical duration will one day, however, this may be extended to include specific special requirements. Half-day bus/coach driver refresher courses are also available for those who have previously undertaken a training course. Driver assessment only is also available to suit the situation, and is particularly useful when assessing new drivers or potential recruits.
